Ghoulishly Good Eats: Healthy Halloween Snacks for Kids

We're excited to share a couple of very simple — yet creative and wholesome — Halloween snack ideas that parents can prepare for their toddlers. These treats are not only adorable but also nutritious, ensuring your little goblins and ghosts enjoy the holiday in a healthy way.
Boo-tiful Banana Ghosts
Ingredients:
Ripe bananas
Mini chocolate chips
Start by peeling the bananas and cutting them in half to make two "ghost" shapes.
Cut jagged edges at the ends of the bananas to give them a ghostly appearance
Gently press mini chocolate chips into the bananas for the eyes and mouth. Your ghosts are coming to life!

Tangerine Pumpkins
Ingredients:
Tangerines (mandarin oranges or clementines, seedless)
Celery stalks
Peel tangerines and scrape off as much white pith membranes as possible.
Wash, dry and slice celery
Cut 1-2 inch narrow pieces from the tops of the celery and insert into the peeled tangerines
Optional: Cut leaves from the celery tops and arrange to look like pumpkin leaves.
Tangerines are packed with antioxidants, which may support immunity, and improve brain, skin, and heart health. Kids love them because they’re sweet and refreshing!
